Why is so much of what passes for writing in the business world
so boring and unconvincing?

Because it's passionless!

No one is going to read your article, your marketing materials, not
even your proposals if they are cold and dead. (Well, they may read
them, but they won't be affected the way you want them to be.)

To write with passion, do two things.

1. Sit back for fifteen minutes or a half-hour before you start
writing and dream about your subject. Draw pictures in your mind.

2. Once you sit down to write, write the entire article, marketing
piece or chapter in one sitting. Don't stop till you're finished.
Ideally, don't even pause. Keep your fingers on the keys and blast
away. Then get up and walk away. Come back the next day to edit.

Using these two techniques, you'll find more passion in your
writing. and you might even find writing easier to do.

Cheers,
