When done correctly, they have a positive influence on the bottom line.

The Training Oasis

The Training Oasis was a long-time client. We had previously developed their logo, stationery and postcard marketing. They now needed to redo their site. Their existing site looked amaturish, and it's navigation was confusing. They badly needed a clean, sophisticated site. Their target market demanded no less.

Redoing an existing site is almost always a bigger task than building a site from scratch. Because the former site had been around for a number of years, it was paramount to keep the existing page URLs. Too many of these were bookmarked and many had achieved high rankings in search engines. This posed a huge problem, as the existing names and linkages were illogical.

More time was invested in maintaining these names, yet marrying them into a modern navigation system, than was spent on the rest of the site combined.

In the end, the rankings were preserved, and the new site launched, to the aclaim of the client's existing clients, as well as new clients.
